Use
In this Customizing activity you can define and edit the graphical elements of the Web-based user interface. This includes colors, text templates, text formatting, and bar types. When you have defined the elements, you can link them to each other and use them in the Customizing activity "Define Profiles of the Web-Based User Interface".
Requirements
Standard settings
Activities
1. You define color definitions and their descriptions. For the individual definitions you define color positions with the RGB details of the desired color. For single-color definitions it is sufficient if you define one color position. To define a color ramp you must define at least two color positions for one color definition.
2. You define text templates. These are containers for the actual texts that are displayed in the Gantt chart bars or the Quick Infos. For each template you define a description as well as the actual template text.
3. You define text formatting. Text formatting contains all format information for the graphical elements on the Gantt chart that contain text. Important components of the definition are the size, contour, color, and type of font, the background color, and the horizontal and vertical alignment of the text. You must have previously defined the colors used under Maintain Color Definitions.
4. You define bar types. The bar type contains all information needed for displaying bars on the Gantt chart of the Web-based planning board. This includes which of the previously defined text formats should be used, the shape and color of the bar, the width and color of the border, and also the height of the bar. As an alternative to the self-defined colors and shapes, you can use predefined styles here.
