In this Customizing activity, you configure the basic settings for the business processes used.

Activities

Make settings according to your requirements. For example, you can do the following:

  • Specify whether assignments are to be created at team level or for all team members when the team function is used
  • Specify whether capacitive assignments are to be allowed
  • Specify whether the system obtains information about the human resources from SAP HR or whether you create your human resources as business partners
  • Specify whether you want to use qualifications from SAP Multiresource Scheduling
  • Specify whether you want to check authorizations using evaluation paths

    You define the evaluation paths in Customizing under Define Resource Planning Nodes and Evaluation Paths.

  • If you want to plan demands from Plant Maintenance (PM) and Customer Service (CS) or from the Project System (PS), specify a global time zone to ensure that times are displayed consistently in the planning board.
