Use
With this BAdI, you can check the scales of the standard qualification groups whose qualifications you want to transfer to an MRS qualification catalog, and cancel the transfer if necessary. You can also transfer your own message that replaces the standard message if errors occur. If you do not specify your message as an error message, it is displayed in any case (useful for messages of type I, for example).
In addition, you can change the selected qualification groups and qualifications before the transfer. You can delete qualifications and qualification groups, and assign or rename other hierarchy nodes.
The BAdI is called in the framework of the transfer program for qualification catalogs /MRSS/SQL_CAT_MIGRATION.
Standard settings
The BAdI is not active in the standard shipment.
Activities
The BAdI has the following methods:
- OBJID_SCALES_CHECK
The method provides the assignment between the object IDs and the scales of the selected qualification groups. In addition, it provides the option of cancelling further processing and transferring a notification.
- QUALIFICATIONS_CHECK
As the import parameter, this method provides the language in which the currently transferred records are to be forwarded, and as the change parameter, it provides a table with data for qualifications and qualification groups to be forwarded. These contain the current text and hierarchy information for the qualifications and qualification groups. Their item IDs (POSID field) may be deleted together with a record from the change table, but otherwise they cannot be changed. If individual items are assigned to a new parent node (PARID field) or deleted, the sequence numbers (SEQNR field) have to be changed for all entries of the parent node in question.
After you call the IMG activity, the system displays a dialog box where you enter a name for the implementation.
If implementations of this Business Add-In have already been created, the system displays them in a dialog box. You then choose one of them by choosing Create, and continue as follows:
- In the dialog box, enter a name for the implementation of the Add-In and choose Create.
The system displays the initial screen for creating Business Add-In implementations. - On this screen, enter a short description for your implementation in the Implementation Short Text field.
- If you choose the Interface tab, you will notice that the system has populated the Name of the Implementing Class field automatically, by assigning a class name based on the name of your implementation.
- Save your entries and assign the Add-In to a package.
- To edit a method, double-click its name.
- Enter your implementation code between the
method <Interface Name>~<Name of Method>.
andendmethod.
statements. - Save and activate your code. Navigate back to the Change Implementation screen.
Note: You can also create an implementation for an Add-In and not activate it until later. If you want to do this, do not perform the following step: - Choose Activate.
When the application program is executed, the code you created is run through.
