Use

In this IMG activity, you define check profiles. A check profile comprises the assigned check classes and the check parameters.

Requirements

Standard settings

SAP provides standard settings.

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries and enter a key and a description for the new profile.
  2. Enter the parameters for checking the duration of assignments.

These parameters apply when you use class /MRSS/CL_SGE_CHECK_ASS. In the standard system, alert type 60 is assigned to these alerts.
The system compares the durations only if the number of assignments for a demand is greater than or equal to the Minimum Number.
The Maximum Deviation and Relative Deviation parameters define the extent to which the planned duration in the service order and the actual duration of the assignments can differ before an alert is generated.

  3. Define the active checks.

You assign the check classes that carry out the alert checks.
In Customizing for alert profiles, you can also prevent certain alerts. For example, for class /MRSS/CL_SGE_CHECK_RELAT you can define that only alerts for relationships are active (the class can also generate other alerts).

  4. Define the time differences.

These parameters apply when you use class /MRSS/CL_SGE_CHECK_CLOCK or /MRSS/CL_SGE_CHECK_DEM_T.
You define which alerts are to be generated for which time differences. For example, you can define that an information alert is to be generated if, 8 hours before its planned start, a demand has not yet been scheduled. You can also specify that a warning alert is to be generated 4 hours before, and an error alert 2 hours before.

  5. Define the percentage of completion (POC).

These parameters apply when you use class /MRSS/CL_SGE_CHECK_CLOCK. In the standard system, alert type 240 is assigned to these alerts.
You define which alerts are to be generated for which POC. The POC is defined as the ratio of the duration of the data determined from time recording to the planned duration of the assignment. For example, you can define that if the POC is 80%, a warning alert is to be generated, and if the POC is 100%, an error alert is to be generated.
