Use

In this IMG activity, you define which fields are to be available for the operation worklist. You assign each field a class, which is responsible for determining the value of the field.

Note:

  • The structure for displaying the operation worklist table is generated at runtime.
  • The fields stored in the generic demand are not assigned a class. You assign the fields in the IMG activity Assign Fields from Generic Demand to the relevant fields in the demand.

Requirements

You have carried out the IMG activity Define Classes for Determining Worklist Fields.

Standard settings

SAP provides standard settings.

Note: Certain fields provided by SAP (such as DESCRIPTION) are not assigned a class, sincethese fields are read together with the technical operation attributes.

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries and enter the required key in the Field Name field.
  2. Enter a description and assign a class.
  3. If you set the Dyn. Val. Determin. indicator, the field is determined dynamically. In this case, thesystem always determines the field value each time an assignment is created for an item. If you do notset the indicator, the system determines the fields only when the worklist is set up.
  4. If you set the Dependent indicator, the value of the field is determined on the basis of other fields. You set this indicator to improve system performance. The dependent fields are determined after the other fields.
  5. Assign a data element. This data element represents the field on the user interface.
