Use

This IMG activity allows you to navigate to the sample Customizing for the approval workflow of employee profiles. There you can make the following settings:

  • Assign processors to tasks
  • Activate event linkage for the sample workflow

If you want to implement an alternative process for the approval workflow, you can copy the example.

Activities

To implement your own approval workflow, you have to develop the following objects:

  1. Create a subtype for BOR object type /MRSS/SQWR. You can now enhance this object type using additional methods, attributes, and events, and redefine existing components. Next, define the new object types as delegation object types for /MRSS/SQWR. Consequently, the delegation object types are requested each time /MRSS/SQWR is accessed.
  2. Copy sample workflow WS00209101 provided and change the copy as required. Note that import parameters and terminating events must not be changed.
