Use

In this Customizing activity, you define which object type the system uses as the resource planning node and which evaluation paths the system uses to determine the assignments of resources, resource planners, and contact persons to the resource planning nodes.

Requirements

You have defined the corresponding object types and evaluation paths in transactionsOOOT (Maintain Object Types) andOOAW (Evaluation Paths).

Standard settings

If you use resources from SAP HR, SAP ships the evaluation paths as standard.

Activities

If you use business partners as resources, you define the evaluation paths as follows:

  1. Choose the scenario GEN (generic scenario).
  2. Make entries in the following group boxes and corresponding fields:
    • Basic Object Types
      • Resource Planning Node: 0
      Resource Planner: US
      Contact Person: US
    • Objects for Resource Planning Node
      • Evaluation Path for Resources: OO-S-BP
      EvalPath for lower-level RP nodes: O-O_DOWN
    • Resource Planning Node to Objects
      • EP: Resource Planning Node of Resource: US-BP-OO
      EvalPath for higher-lvl RP nodes: O-O
