Use

In this IMG activity, you specify how the system determines the geocoordinates for the addresses. You can determine the geocoordinates using a Business Add-In (BAdI), the geographical information system (GIS), or postal codes:

  • If you use alternative geocoding by means of a BAdI, create a BAdI implementation for BAdI: Determination of Geocoordinates and Travel Times.
  • You can use your GIS, which is connected by means of an interface, to determine the geocoordinates.
  • You can use an external GIS by entering the GIS connection.
  • If you determine the geocoordinates based on postal codes, you must enter the relevant address data in the Postal Codes for Georeferencing table (/MRSS/D_GEO_ZIP).
