Use
In this Customizing activity, you can specify whether an assignment should be created automatically at the time of appointment booking for the specified type of external service provider resource.
You can choose between service providers who offer one time frame per day during which multiple successive assignments can be created and those who offer several overlapping time frames during which multiple parallel assignments can be created.
Note:
This Customizing setting is only relevant for demands that are based on CRM service orders and only if you use the extended appointment booking scenario.
Requirements
- You have selected the Resource Capacity appointment booking type in Customizing activity Determine Appointment Booking Type.
- You are using business partners as external service provider resources.
- You have activated capacitive planning.
- You have made settings for the external service provider resources using transaction /MRSS/RES_DET_MAINT.
- You have made settings in Customizing activity Assign Role Type to Business Partner.
- In order to have assignments created automatically by the system, you must make settings in both this Customizing activity and in the Control Automatic Creation of an Assignment by Status Type activity.
