Use
If the available organizational dimensions Personnel Area/Personnel Subarea and Employee Subgroup/Employee Group are not suitable for determining the rank key, you create main groups and subgroups in this IMG activity.
The main groups/subgroups can be stored for organizational units, positions, individuals, and budget structure elements.
In Personnel Administration, the main groups/subgroups are created for the rank info type. In personnel budget plan management, the main groups/subgroups are entered in simple maintenance (transaction HRPBCM) or details maintenance (transaction PP01).
To be able to use the defined main groups/subgroups, you must activate them in the next IMG activity.
