Use
In this IMG activity, you can define number range intervals for material planning objects.
For each number range interval, you enter the following:
- Number range number
- Number interval from which the numbers are to be selected
- The type of number assignment (internal or external)

Activities
If you want the numbers to be assigned externally, you must enter the following interval and set the flag External:
Number range number NE
From number 100000000 to number 999999999
If you want the numbers to be assigned internally, you must enter the following interval:
Number range number NI
From number 000000001 to number 099999999
Example
Further notes
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
