Use
You can use this business add-in (BAdI) to adjust the determination of suppliers in the stock transport order to the needs of your organization.
The BAdI is used in the following components:
Consumption-based planning (MM-CBP)
The BAdI is executed both for the creation of planned orders for stock transfer and in the automatic planning run. The special procurement key is transferred here.
Purchasing (MM-PUR)
The BAdI is executed during supply source determination for the stock transport requisition and in the stock transport order. However, the special procurement key is not transferred, as this is not known at the time of the calling application. We recommend that the key is determined by reading the material master, so that it is possible to tell whether the BAdI should be executed for each material.
Slightly different methods of handling the results are programmed, depending on the calling location. In supply source determination and during planning, both the issuing plant and issuing storage location can be defined.
In the stock transport order, the issuing plant must already be specified in the document header. The determination of a different issuing plant leads to a warning message, but the new plant is not changed.
Result
In addition to the issuing plant and issuing storage location, the parameters E_PERFORMED and E_FOUND must be set.
E_PERFORMED = 'X' here means that the BAdI should be executed for the material in the receiving MRP area (an appropriate special procurement key was set).
E_FOUND = 'X' means that the actual issuing plant/storage location was found.
The values are only transferred to the calling application if both parameters are set.
