Use

In this activity, you can control how additional parts are to be assigned when a material planning object (MPO) is assigned to a force element. You can make separate settings for mandatory parts, optional parts, and additional parts to define whether they are to be:

  • Preselected (field: Preselect AP Assgt)
  • Selected but changeable during detailed planning (field: Changeable AP Assgt)

Requirements

Standard settings

The following settings are provided in the standard system:

  • Mandatory parts: preselected
  • Optional parts: preselected and changeable
  • Additional parts without indicator: changeable

Activities

Specify whether each type (mandatory part, optional part, additional part without indicator), is to be preselected (field: Preselect AP Assgt) or whether the selection is to be changeable (field: Changeable AP Assgt).
