Use

In this IMG activity, you can assign data from Personnel Management as tab pages in the Structures Workbench (iPPE Workbench).

The tab pages contain all the personnel data for the objects selected and enable you to process it from within the Structures Workbench.

The Structures Workbench is a central point of maintenance for creating force elements, including the objects that are linked to them. It is therefore used to support the planning and implementation of missions and operations, for example, task organizations. The Structures Workbench uses various components from Human Resources, for example, Organizational Plan.

Standard settings

The standard system already contains a range of pre-defined tab pages for controlling iPPE tabstrips, hierarchy framework scenarios, and hierarchy framework tab pages.

Recommendation

We recommend you work with the standard settings.

Requirements

To assign new tab pages to the Structures Workbench, you must first define tab pages for controlling iPPE tabstrips, hierarchy framework scenarios, and hierarchy framework tab pages.

Activities

Check whether or not the standard assignments meet your requirements.

If necessary, you can create new assignments:

  1. In the field Tab ID, use the input help to select a key for a tab page in the iPPE Workbench.
  2. In the field Scenario, select the hierarchy framework scenario /ISDFPS/ using the input help.
  3. In the field Tab Page, use the input help to select a tab page key. In the detail area of the hierarchy framework, you can define tab pages containing specialist information on an object of a specific type for every object type that appears in a hierarchy framework scenario. Each of these tab pages is uniquely identified by its tab page key.
