Use
In this activity, you define whether a delivery is to be created for a purchase order with a particular combination of supplying plant, issuing storage location, and document type. In addition, you can define which delivery type is to be used.
In Logistics Execution, the delivery type controls how a delivery is processed. In the standard system, delivery type 'NL' is used for stock transfers without a billing document, and 'NLCC' is used for stock transfers with internal settlement.
Requirements
For stock transfers between storage locations, you must maintain the appropriate switch in Customizing in menu option Activate Stock Transfers Between Storage Locations pflegen.
Standard settings
If there is no storage-location-dependent data, no settings need to be maintained here. In this case, the system takes account of the settings in menu option "Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule".
