Use
In this menu option, you define for each delivery type whether the shipping point is to be determined from the combination of plant, loading group, and shipping condition only, or whether the storage location is also to be included in the search (storage-location-dependent shipping point determination).
Requirements
You can only use storage-location-dependent shipping point determination for order-related deliveries and for replenishment deliveries with reference to a stock transport order.
Standard settings
If you do not make any settings here, the shipping point is determined without consideration of the storage location.
Activities
- Find out which business processes are to use shipping point determination dependent on plants, and which are to also include the storage locations in this search.
- Maintain the appropriate determination rules for the delivery types for which you want to use storage-location-dependent shipping point determination.
Example
It makes sense to use storage-location-dependent shipping point determination in the "stock transfer between storage locations" scenario, for example.
