Use
In this menu option, you assign the shipping points to the required combinations of plant, storage location, shipping condition, and loading group.
Requirements
Before you can assign the shipping points, you must have defined plants, storage locations, shipping points, shipping conditions, and loading groups.
For information on this, see the following menu options:
Plants are defined as logistical organizational units in menu option "Create Plant".
You can create storage locations in Maintenance of Organizational Units in Materials Management.
You define shipping points as organizational units of the Logistics Execution component in menu option "Create Shipping Point".
Also note that you must assign the shipping points to at least one plant. You can make this setting in the menu option "Assign Shipping Points".
Storage-location-dependent shipping point determination is only executed if an appropriate determination rule is configured for the delivery type. You can make these settings in menu option Define Rule Determination of Shipping Point.
Standard settings
If you do not want to use storage-location-dependent shiping point determination, you do not need to make any entries here.
Activities
- Find out how the shipping points within a plan and for a particular storage locations are to be assigned to the shipping conditions and loading groups.
- Create the assignments for the individual plants and storage locations.
