Use

In this IMG activity, you define

• The representations in the structure and selection area of the Structures Workbench.

  You define an evaluation path in each case.

• The display of usage types for the object.

Requirements

Standard settings

Evaluation paths and usage types are already defined in the standard system.

Activities

Check whether the standard evaluations and usage types meet your requirements, and change the settings if necessary.

• UType

  Enter an object key per view (combination of evaluation paths for structure and selection area) that is to be available via the structure selection in the Structures Workbench.

• Letter

  Enter the letter used to represent the relationships of this view in the representation of the usage type.

• ID / Description

  Enter an ID and a description.

• Eval. Path

  Enter the evaluation path that defines the representation of the linked objects for the function area of the Structures Workbench.

• Eval. Path

  Enter the evaluation path that defines the representation of the linked objects for the structure area of the Structures Workbench.

• Auth. Mat.

  Select this indicator if material planning objects can be assigned to a force element in this usage type.

• Relat. O-O

  Enter which relationship between force elements of this view are to be evaluated for the representation of the usage type.

• Relat. O-S

  Enter which relationship between force elements and positions of this view are to be evaluated for the representation of the usage type.

• Ignore

  Select the structures that are not to be evaluated for the representation of the usage type.

• Hide

  Select the views that are not to be included in the structure selection of the Structures Workbench.
