Use
In this IMG activity, you can define alternatives for the nodes you created previously in the IMG activity Define iPPE Node Types.
Using an alternative, you can show that, for example, a node with a structure has been compiled in a different way. When the node data is maintained in the iPPE Workbench, the system automatically selects the alternatives belonging to that node.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard Customizing settings for the Defense Forces and Public Security project contain the following alternative types for material planning objects:
- Single-part BOM (technical name S_DFCMP)
- User-defined text item (technical name S_DFTXT)
In addition to these alternative types, there are also alternative types for the product master data environment that are not relevant for the Defense Forces and Public Security project:
