Use

The DSD route settlement sets up a new organizational unit called settlement office. The work area of a settlement office covers the following steps performed after a tour:

  • Determination of the differences that occurred during the tour
  • Decision whether a difference needs to be posted to the debit or credit side,
  • Decision on releasing for further processing,
  • Clearing as a result of errors and/or inconsistencies that occurred during the tour in order to clear these errors and/or inconsistencies.

From the technical point of view, the settlement office represents an important organizational unit with decisive control functions. The settlement office is determined dependent on the transportation planning point.
