Use
In this menu item, you define the type of number assignment and the number range intervals for external deliveries.
When deliveries that were created on a handheld are to be duplicated in the system, a unique number must be assigned. This number range is only used if delivery execution is entered manually.

Activities
When a DSD process with handheld support is involved, you have to maintain a number range interval for this number range object and then assign it to a usage.
If a DSD process without handheld support is involved, you do not have to maintain a number range interval for this number range object.
