Use
In this IMG activity, you assign a function module to DSD connectivity objects.
This is required to convert IDoc contents into database tables corresponding to the connectivity objects of the DSD connector.
Requirements
Standard settings
Note that the default DSD scenario process uses the Customizing settings that are delivered with the system as example Customizing. We therefore recommend that you copy these settings to your client.
Activities
Function module /DSD/ME_MAINTAIN_DATA has to be used for the
default behavior of the DSD scenario.
This function module converts the IDoc contents according to the mapping rules into the database tables corresponding to the connectivity objects.
If you want to change the default behaviour, you can define a function module of your own. This function module must have the same interface as function module /DSD/ME_MAINTAIN_DATA.
Bear in mind that in the case of support, a customer-specific function module will be treated as a customer modification.
