Use

In this IMG activity, you determine which messages are displayed to the driver on the mobile device. The system transfers all messages from the back end to the DSD Connector, but only the message types contained in this table are transferred to the driver's mobile device.

Note:

You must process the messages as texts in the customer master data or in the relevant documents (order, delivery, shipment, visit list). The system transfers them to the DSD Connector with the corresponding IDOCs.

Requirements

The texts objects are predefined by SAP (that is, assigned to the relevant application). They are contained in table TTXOB. In the Customizing table /DSD/HH_DRVTXT, only text objects that are used in the Customer, Visit List, Shipment, Delivery, and Order applications are allowed. These are:

  • Central customer texts (KNA1) with message type DEBMAS
  • Customer texts for sales (KNVV) with message type DEBMAS
  • Texts for the visit list (/DSD/VCVLH) with message type /DSD/HH_ROUTE_ITINERARY
  • Texts for a visit (/DSD/VCVLP) with message type /DSD/HH_ROUTE_ITINERARY
  • Shipment header (VTTK ) with message type SHPMNT
  • Order header (VBBK) with message type ORDERSP
  • Order item (VBBP) with message type ORDERSP
  • Delivery header (VBBK) with message type DESADV
  • Delivery item (VBBP) with message type DESADV

The text types (IDs) can be created for the text objects in Customizing (on a customer-specific basis). They are contained in table TTXID.
