Use
In this IMG activity, you specify attributes for the extraction variants and the corresponding RFC destinations. You assign an extraction method and a statistical application to each extraction variant.
Note
The standard system provides the Sales History (/DSD/GS_QU) (Average Quantities per Week) as a sample extraction variant. This extraction variant supplies data to the statistical application Customer Statistics.
The Sales History is an example of other potential scenarios with other data sources.
The BI Data Mart Interface method is provided as an extraction method. It is used to extract data from BI systems. You can also use the extraction method BADI /DSD/BADI_GS_EXT_METHOD and a suitable implementation of the method it contains (EXTRACT_DATA) to define your own extractions from other systems.
