Use
In this IMG activity, you define:
- The actions you require for compatible units
- The point-in-time at which the technical object for a particular action is to be created
Defining actions
You use the action to define the context of the work being executed using the compatible unit. Examples of possible actions are INSTALL, REMOVE, and MAINTAIN.
The characteristic representing the action is the only mandatory global characteristic. It is validated against the standard table /CUM/ACTION.

Defining the point-of-time when the technical object is to be created
Possible entries are Before RELEASE and Before TECHNICAL COMPLETION.
Requirements
- You have defined the global class.
- The global class includes the characteristic for the action. You define the characteristic for the action in IMG activity Define Classes to Be Used.
