Use

In this IMG activity you can change period keys and add new ones. The smallest unit used to specify the length of a period is a month.
The period table contains control details that the system uses to determine the date of the next request and then update it to the data record.
You can specify the length of a reporting interval (= reporting frequency) using the number of months. You can assign a period group to a period key.

Standard settings

The following period keys exist in the standard SAP R/3 for Pendulum List Indirect Orders:

  • Monthly
  • Quarterly
  • Biannually
  • Annually

Activities

  1. Process the period keys you need.
  2. Assign a period group to each period key.

Example

You will usually only want to have requests sent to wholesalers on a

biannual and annual basis:
Only customize requests with the standard SAP R/3 period keys 06 and 123. Assign the period groups to PL04 and PL03.
