In this IMG activity you define compression strategies for the values you copy from contract handling (CH) for date valuation. You use the compression strategies to describe delimitations for periods that are used in contract handling.

Use the standard entries for compression strategies or enter your own. For each compression strategy, enter a numeric key of up to four characters and a name.
Further notes
Example
You can use a compression strategy to compress (balance) contract postings from different periods, for example. Examples of periods are date time, contract validity period and date time + contract validity period.
