In this IMG activity you define rounding rules. You require rounding rules to round down or round up in a variety of different business processes. All rounding rules that are allowed in contract handling are stored in a central CH rounding table. The table also contains a validity date as well as the rounding rules.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard delivery contains the table entries for rounding rules.
Activities
You can copy and modify the standard rounding rules, or maintain your own entries.
Further notes
You can define general rounding rules by creating an additional rounding rule with the same key and a new validity date. The validity date of the new rounding rule is also the end date of the relevant predecessor.
Example
It is mostly currency units and units of measure that are rounded. For sales remuneration, for example, the determined sales quantity can be rounded up or down to the nearest full unit of measure.
