In this IMG activity you define the order types you want to allow for contract handling. You classify sales documents by the order type. You can differentiate between the different order types by classifying them.

The standard delivery contains default order types.
Activities
Use the default order types. If you need additional order types, you can also implement your own.
Further notes
The order type (sales document type) determines how the system processes the sales document. On the basis of the sales document type, the system determines which maintenance screens are provided and which data you have to enter, for example.
