In this step you define the settings for the periods to be supplemented. You require supplementations to take settlement-relevant changes for periods in the past into account. You define the period of a supplement by its period group and the period view. In Contract Handling, the period being considered is moved by the appropriate number of periods so that even previous periods that have already been settled are taken into account.

Maintain, per agreement class and rule identifier, all the supplement periods that you require for your contract settlement.
Further notes
The supplement periods must have the same periodity as the settlement periods.
Example
In monthly settlement (period group: month) and period view 0001, the period of settlement being considered is set back by a month.
