In this IMG activity you enter the business time type for an object (sales place). Knowing business times makes it easier for you to plan sales activities and helps you to plan field sales activities effectively.

Standard settings
The standard system contains proposals for business time types.
Activities
Use the proposed business time types or enter your own. For each new business time type enter a numerical key with up to four digits and a description.
Further notes
In addition to the opening time you can also enter the days the business is closed, business holidays and any other interruptions to daily business. If the timeframe for a business time type during the course of a day is split up (for example, opening times from 07:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 23:00), you enter a separate data record for each time interval. To enable you to differentiate between business time types you can, for example, define a morning opening time and an evening opening time. You should also assign a business time type to theinterim periods (lunch break).
