In this IMG activity you define account views. You use account views to describe the criteria required to select specific postings. The account view is a grouping of contract movement types under a superordinate term (grouping characteristic).
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard delivery contains default account views.
Activities
Use the standard account views. If you require additional account views, you can create your own. To do this, copy an existing account view and modify it according to your requirements.
Further notes
Only use contract movement types that are entered in the standard chart of accounts in financial accounting. You can use the grouping characteristic to define different combinations for selection and balancing. Grouping characteristics are not obligatory. However, you must specify the operator if you have more than one contract movement type. If you do not enter a credit or debit indicator, you allow credit and debit postings to be made for the contract movement types.
Example
In the "Capital" account view you must consider all contract movement types that affect capital, for example:
- Payment
- Manual payment
- Increase
- Repayment (including repayment through depreciation or extra charge)
- Special repayment
