The loading unit is a unit of measure that helps the MRP controller optimize the loading of shipments.
To be able to use loading units, you must define settings in Customizing for loading units and the alternative units of measure in the material master.
Use
In the Customizing table Permitted Document Types Order you enter the combinations of sales area/sales document type for which you want to enable loading unit determination.
