Use
You use empties groups to group together individual empties materials.
You group together the empties materials under defined criteria usually on a value basis) in order to have easy-to-read lists and common deposit values for transparent pricing.
The system outputs the empties group in invoices and delivery notes. In these documents, the empties group shortens the empties block, as the system can output the balances for the empties group instead of listing each material individually. If you have not assigned a material to a group, the system will output the records by material.

Brand A is sold in 1-liter standard plastic bottles with a deposit of 15 UNI.
Brand B is sold in 1-liter standard plastic bottles with a deposit of 20 UNI.
Brand C is sold in 0.5-liter standard glass bottles with a deposit of 15 UNI.
Brand D is sold in 0.7-liter standard glass bottles with a deposit of 15UNI.
Because empties groups are formed on a value basis, brands A, C, and D can be added to the same group, as they are all valuated with 15 UNI. This means that differences in material and/or volume are not relevant for forming groups.
