Use
In this Customizing table you define a material sort variant for groups. Usually the messages for groups refer to delivery groups.
By means of the material sort variant the system controls sorting the output data in a print form. In the present context these are groups.
Requirements
Before you can assign a form a material sort variant you need to create the sort variant in Customizing under create Sort Variants.
