Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Business Context Viewer (CA-EPT-BCV) component.
You can use this BAdI to replace the function that is used to transform the result data from the Search Engine Service (SES) format to the BCV format provided by SAP.
Requirements
Standard settings
This BAdI is designed for single use.
This BAdI is filter-dependent. It uses two filters:
- A character-type filter BUSOBJ that represents the business object for which BCV performs the SES search. For example, value BUS1006 identifies the business object Business Partner.
- A character-type filter OBJECT_TYPE that represents the object type within the current business object. For example, value 1 (for business object BUS1006) identifies object type Person.
SAP provides a default implementation class that is performed if no active implementation and no default implementation of the BAdI for the current business object or object type combination exists. This class implements the standard transformation functionality provided by SAP that cannot handle multiple values for each object attribute.
