Diagnosis

When calling the detail display of planned/actual key figures for a material, an incorrect system setting meant that a selection variant was used which led to an error accessing the information system.

In markdown planning, two selection variants are needed to read actual values from the information system and compare the planned figures for a markdown plan. You can maintain these variants in Customizing and must always give them the indicators MDFV1 and MDFV2.

The system uses MDFV1 to read the stock key figures from the assigned stock information structure. These key figures are displayed in the header of the detail screen.

The system uses MDFV2 to read period-specific key figures from the assigned information system. These key figures are displayed according to price phase in the items on the detail screen. The information structure defined in selection variant MDFV2 must have the period split 'week'.

The information structure you used does not have the period split 'week'.

System Response

You can only split the price phases for the key figures into weeks. As a result, you cannot branch to the detail display.

Procedure

In selection variant Customizing, assign an information structure which has the period split 'week' to selection variant MDFV2.
