Diagnosis

You want to add a material to the item overview of a category that is not operational, i.e. a material group value-only material, a hierarchy material, a group material or a material group reference material. Materials of these categories are used for inventory management or for easing data maintenance and do not make any sense in the product catalog.

System Response

The material is not copied to the item overview.

Procedure

Do not insert any materials of the categories mentioned above in the item overview.
