Diagnosis
This catalog is created via ALE message IDocs. All changes you make to data in dialog maintenance can be overwritten at any time by subsequent messages and are therefore lost.
Procedure
- If changes to catalog data are necessary
- make the changes in logical system , in which the original of product catalog is situated
- from here, distribute the changes to all downstream systems
- If, on the other hand, no changes are to be made in future to this catalog as a result of ALE messages
- deactivate the distribution of product catalog messages from logical syste
