You do not have a 32-bit Windows interface - entry has no effect

Diagnosis

The setting "Do not display general header when creating RAW documents"

only has an effect if you are using a Windows 32-bit user interface, as

only here can a specific editor be started for creating documents.

You are using a Windows 32-bit user interface if you are using Windows

NT 4.0 or Windows 95 on your computer.

The general header when creating documents is a window allowing the

user to determine certain properties of a document. When using the RTF

editor for 32-bit user interfaces, certain properties of a document

cannot be set or are not necessary.

System Response

Cancel the selection if you are not working with one of the above operating systems or have not set the RTF editor for these interfaces.
