Diagnosis

You tried to confirm the translation of a text.

This was not necessary in this case, either because no confirmation was required or you had already confirmed the translation.

A translation can need confirming if a translation already exists for a source text but there is not yet an entry in the proposal pool.

To tell the system that a previously unknown translation is correct, you must either confirm or change the translation. In either case, you declare the translation to be a valid translation of the source text and create an entry in the proposal pool.
