Software component of package does not match delivery flag

Diagnosis

According to its software components, the package is not to be delivered (that is, it is assigned to the 'HOME' or 'LOCAL' software component) but in contradiction to that, the delivery indicator is set.

System Response

Procedure

You can make the correction in the package maintenance. Enter the current package in the Object Navigator (transaction SE80) and switch to change mode. You must then choose whether the package is to be delivered or not.

If you want to deliver the package, then you must use input help to assign a suitable software component that is defined in the system.

If you do not want to deliver the package, then you must also use input help to assign the respective software component, that is 'HOME' or 'LOCAL'.

Note:

• Even if the correct software component ('HOME' or 'LOCAL') is already assigned for packages that are not to be delivered, you must assign this component again using input help. Only when you save the assigned software component is the delivery indicator (which cannot be maintained from the user interface) adjusted correspondingly.
• If the correct software component is already assigned but is not defined in the current system, contact system administration. They will then check whether this software component can be recognized in the current system.
