Message Text
System cannot determine condition type for object &1 and expense &2
Help Document
Diagnosis
The system is not able to determine the condition type for passing on expense item to object .
System Response
The system searches as follows:
- Case 1
If there is no condition type assigned to the expense item group that the expense item belongs to, then the expense item flows into the adjustment of the main condition. (Either the main condition already exists, or it is created using the reference condition.) - Case 2
The expense item group that the expense item belongs to has 1 to n condition types assigned to it (set n); Conditions of from 1 to m (set m) condition types are assigned to the adjustment rule: - Case 2a
If the system finds exactly one condition type that is in set n and in set m , then the condition having this condition type is used for the adjustment. - Case 2b
If no condition type of set n is found in set m, then a condition with that condition type is created from set n (either the main condition or the reference condition), where the Default indicator is set.
Note: In all other cases, the system issues this message.
Procedure
- You classify the main condition in Customizing for adjustment rules.
- You set the default indicator in Customizing for the cost efficiency analysis.
