Diagnosis

A system error occurred when SAP event (parameter ) was triggered to start the background job in client .

System Response

The background job could not be started.

Procedure

  1. Try to find further information relevant to the time at which the error occurred by looking at the system log (Tools -> Administration -> Monitor -> System log).
  2. If the lock administration diagnosis reports errors (Tools -> Administration -> Monitor -> Lock entries -> Extras -> Diagnosis), these may have caused the error.
  3. If you can access the SAPNet - R/3 Front End, search for the keyword 'PU039'.
