Diagnosis
You cannot delete an appraisal element if it is still being used in an appraisal.
System Response
Procedure
- Identify the appraisals in which the appraisal element is used. You can use the Reporting Options for Appraisals to do this (select the More selection criteria option).
For more information, refer to the R/3 Library (HR -> Personnel Management -> Personnel Development -> Appraisal Systems -> Reporting Options for Appraisals). - Delete the appraisals.
- Delete the appraisal element from the appraisal catalog.
Procedure for System Administration
In Customizing for Personnel Development, you can specify whether appraisals with the statuses Completed and Approved can be deleted. For more information, refer to the Implementation Guide (IMG) (step: Set Up Control Parameters).
