Movement type &1 not allowed for stock difference goods receipts

Diagnosis

If you want the negative remainder to be updated as a stock difference, this means that the current actual stock is more than the book inventory carried. The negative remainder is posted as a goods receipt to stock difference.
The movement type you chose under Settings -> Default Values is not supported for entering goods receipts or stock movements.

System Response

You cannot use the chosen movement type as the default value.

Procedure

Choose a suitable movement type.
