Diagnosis
In a chart of accounts copy scenario ('Copy Rows' indicator is set) , the original chart of accounts as retained unchanged in the system, while the target chart of accounts is created and changed as required.
In connection with this, all tables that have the chart of accounts or sets as key fields (SETHEADER, SETHEADERT, SETLEAF, SETLINET, SETNODE RWSHEADER, RWSLINE) must be copied (and the entries for the target chart of accounts must be changed).
This data can be used in the areas of
- Reporting (Report Painter, Report Writer)
- Allocations (for example, assessment and distribution)
Due to the complexity of reports and allocations, it is not possible to re-create them automatically and insert the copied sets.
System Response
For these reasons, all tables in which sets are used (except the set definition tables mentioned above) are not converted in a copy scenario (and excluded from the conversion).
Procedure
Create reporting and allocations for the target chart of accounts (controlling area) manually after the conversion.
