Diagnosis

A chart of accounts is always assigned at the level of a controlling area (rather than a company code), which means that all company codes that belong to a controlling area have to use the chart of accounts that is assigned to this controlling area.

Company code belongs to controlling area . Because chart of accounts participates in the conversion, and because this chart of accounts is assigned to the controlling area , all company codes that belong to controlling area must participate. This also applies to the company code .
