Diagnosis

The chart of accounts is defined at controlling area level. Consequently, all company codes that belong to a given controlling area must always use the chart of accounts that was defined for this controlling area.

If the conversion was done as defined in the mapping maintenance, this prerequisite would no longer be met after the conversion.

System Response

The system found that the mapping includes company code , but not company code , though both belong to the same controlling area .

Procedure

Change the entries in the mapping maintenance so that all company codes that belong to the same controlling area are considered.
