Convert table T001B (Posting period variant)

Diagnosis

Check is exclusively relevant for org.-dependent conversion.

The program checks if any of the definitions for posting period variants are also used in non-participating company codes, because this can cause problems in org-dependent conversions(see results of the pre-analysis check ' Posting Period Variant (OPVAR) in Table T001B')

The content of table T001B is checked (field OPVAR)

Default setting: The table participates in the conversion

System Response

The program suggests:

• Convert - If there is no problem and table should be converted.
• Do not convert - If posting period variants are also used in non-participating company codes then this can cause a problem in conversion. The table should not participate in the conversion.

Procedure

You must select either Convert or Do not convert.

If both check boxes are disabled and default setting (tables participate in conversion) is active, this means there are no issues related to this area in fiscal year analysis and it will be handled automatically.
